Engineering and Manufacturing Week (Hamilton Career Center)

Attention 8th grade girls! 

Engineering and Manufacturing (GEM) Week is at the Hamilton Career Center June 4th-7th 8:00am - 3:30pm. Students will enjoy learning about engineering and manufacturing with hands-on projects and engineering challenges. Students will receive a t-shirt, industry tours, and create some great projects. Lunch is provided. Students will complete a MIG welding project and use a PlasmaCam cutting system to design and build a nightstand. Electronics, CNC machining, laser engraving, and 3-D printing are all technologies that participants will learn about by creating fun projects that they design. There are only 18 available spots. If you are interested in exploring engineering and manufacturing please return the permission form to Ms. Brooks with a check for $20 made payable to Hamilton Career Center. The deadline is May 25th.
